Combining rich cases in three major fields—trade in goods, trade in services, and digital trade—he analyzed in detail the practical effects of AI empowering the high-quality development of foreign trade. Finally, Minister Jiang Yaoping put forward policy suggestions on breaking through key technological bottlenecks, building a digital support system, and participating in the formulation of global rules.

In the interactive communication session, teachers and students had a lively discussion and exchange on issues such as the development prospect of AI and the challenges in the development of the digital industry. Professor Edmund Li Sheng pointed out that AI is profoundly reshaping the global trade pattern. Relying on its advantages in the entire industrial chain, massive data resources, and rich application scenarios, China has shown great potential in the process of trade digital and intelligent transformation. It is expected to take the lead in development and steadily move towards the goal of becoming a strong trading nation.
This lecture provided a communication platform for teachers and students to gain an in-depth understanding of the innovative practices and cutting-edge trends of AI empowering the high-quality development of foreign trade. The school will continue to gather high-quality disciplinary resources and invite teachers and students to keep abreast of the school's developments and the "Cooperation and Development" academic lecture series of the Institute of SCO Studies.
