Recently, Xinhua News Agency's Macao Branch sent a letter of thanks to express its gratitude to Professor Sheng Li, a distinguished professor at the School of Political Science and Public Administration, for providing intellectual support to a series of thematic research projects conducted by the branch.
In recent years, Professor Sheng Li has been interviewed by Xinhua News Agency on more than 30 occasions. Particularly on the eve of the 25th anniversary of Macao's return to the motherland, he participated in multiple in-depth interviews as part of Xinhua News Agency's Macao Branch's series of thematic research projects. He offered valuable insights during these interviews, contributing to the successful completion of the research reports and the formulation of research outcomes with significant academic value and practical guiding significance.
In recent times, the School of Political Science and Public Administration has closely aligned itself with the country's major strategies. Focusing on critical real-world issues in national and regional economic and social development, the school has fully leveraged the applied characteristics and advantages of its two first-level disciplines, political science and public administration. It has actively engaged in strategic and policy research, submitting policy recommendations and advisory reports with substantial influence.
Looking ahead, the School of Political Science and Public Administration will continue to concentrate on the country's development strategies. It will place a strong emphasis on strengthening the construction of high-level think tanks, aiming to produce more influential think tank outcomes and decision-making advisory reports, thereby continuously enhancing its capacity for social service.
