On the morning of June 18, 2024, Jacob Isbosethsen, the current representative of Greenland's economy, trade and culture in China, visited the School of Political Science and Public Administration of Shandong University. Ma Ben,Dean of the School of Political Science and Public Administration,Edmund Li Sheng,Executive Dean ofthe Institute of SCO Studies, and Ma Tengjun, Secretary of Foreign Affairs of the School of Political Science and Public Administration attended the symposium.

Ma Ben first introduced the general situation of the School of Political Science and Public Administration, disciplinary advantages,majorarrangementsand international work results. The representative, Jacob Isbosethsen, introduced in detail the natural and human resources of Greenland and its unique regional cultural characteristics. He stressed that although Greenland and China are geographically far apart, they share common development goals and broad prospects for cooperation. Greenland attaches great importance to friendly relations with China, which is the largest exporter of Greenland and one of its important international partners.
