On the evening of November 22nd, ProfessorEdmund Li Sheng, Distinguished Professor at Shandong University, Executive Dean ofthe Institute of SCO Studies, and Honorary Professor of the China-SCOInstituteof Economics and Trade, delivered a theme report entitledGreat Power Diplomacy with Chinese Characteristics in the New Era: The Docking of China's Belt and Road Initiative and Russia's Eurasian Economic Unionfor the freshmen undergraduates of the School of Political Scienceand Public Administration, Class of 2024.

At the beginning of the lecture, ProfessorEdmund Li Shengconducted an in-depth analysis of the strategic layout of great power diplomacy with Chinese characteristics in the new era, elaborating on the achievements and far-reaching significance of the "Belt and Road" Initiative over the past decade, while also discussing the challenges faced by China-Russia cooperation both internally and externally.
