Sun Kang, Doctor of Laws (LL.D.), is a Researcher at the SCO Research Institute and an Associate Professor at the Law School of Shandong University, where he also serves as a Master's Supervisor. He holds concurrent positions as a Founding Member of the Asian Legal History Association, a Director of the Legal Research Association of Chuan-Shaan Soviet Area under the Sichuan Law Society, and a Young Editorial Board Member of several academic journals includingJournal of Changzhou University (Social Science Edition),Journal of Nandu,Oriental Forum,Journal of China West Normal University (Philosophy and Social Sciences Edition), andJournal of Southwest University of Science and Technology (Philosophy and Social Sciences Edition).

Having presided over more than ten research projects, including those funded by the Shandong Provincial Social Science Planning Project, Qingdao Municipal Social Science Planning Project, Humanities and Social Sciences Research Project of Shandong University, and the "Research · Ideological and Political Education in Courses" Construction Project of Shandong University, Professor Sun has won numerous awards such as the First Prize of the 37th Qingdao Social Science Outstanding Achievement Award, the National First Prize of the 8th Essay Competition of the Zhang Jinfan Legal History Academic Foundation, the First Prize of the 10th National Forum on Jurisprudence, the Excellent Paper Award of the 2nd Zeng Xianyi Legal History Scholarship, and the Jinglu Teaching Award of Shandong University.
