Currently serves as Dean of the Central Asian Research Institute at Zhejiang University of Finance & Economics, having previously held roles including Dean of the International College and Director of the International Cooperation Office. He is also a supervisor for Translation Studies and MTI master’s programs, an expert member of the Translators Association of China, and a council member of the China Association for International Education Management.
With prolific academic achievements, he has supervised 22 postgraduate students since 2007, published over 60 papers/monographs, and served as chief translator for 12 economic and legal works. His English textbook Business English Negotiation, which he edited, was selected as a national planning textbook. He has won three provincial-level teaching and social science awards, presided over 13 projects including National Social Science Fund programs, and had nine achievements recognized as provincial prizes or selected for national key publications.
Between 2020 and 2022, he published long-form articles in Kazakhstan’s mainstream media, garnering over 150,000 views. For his contributions to China-Kazakhstan studies, he was received by Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, and his Central Asian Research Center was selected as a founding member of Zhejiang Province’s "Belt and Road" Think Tank Alliance.
