Professor and doctoral supervisor at the School of International Relations/Institute of Overseas Chinese, Jinan University, currently serving as Dean of the institute. He is a leading talent in philosophy and social sciences under the National Ten Thousand Talents Program, a cultural expert and "Four Batches of Talents" under the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, and a leading talent under Guangdong Province's Special Support Program. His long-standing research focuses on international relations and Asia-Pacific security studies. He has presided over over 30 national-level projects including major and key projects funded by the National Social Science Fund of China. He has published 6 monographs, 2 translated works, 6 edited volumes, and 1 textbook in both Chinese and English, with over 60 papers published in core journals such as Social Sciences in China and World Economics and Politics. His achievements have been awarded multiple provincial and ministerial prizes, including the Excellent Achievement Award in Humanities and Social Sciences by the Ministry of Education and the Guangdong Provincial Philosophy and Social Sciences Excellent Achievement Award. He concurrently serves as a council member of the China Asia-Pacific Society and editorial board member of multiple CSSCI journals, exerting significant academic influence in the fields of Asia-Pacific security governance and maritime strategy studies.
