A native of St.Petersburg, Russia;Ph.D. in History, Professor, and Doctoral supervisor,atRussian Academy of Sciences.He has beenworking atPeter the Great St.Petersburg Polytechnic Universitysince 1984, and currently serves as theHeadof the Department of International Relations at theInstitute of Humanities (since 2000). He is the Editor-in-Chief of the academic journalsRussia in the GlobalWorldandInternational Relations and the Dialogue of Cultures. He has published over 150 academic papers and more than 20 monographs and textbooks, includingPolitical Geography of Western European Countries(Peter the Great St.Petersburg Polytechnic University Press,2015), andCooperation Issues Among China, Russia, and the United States in Central Asia(Eurasian Law,Issue 7, 2016).He held theGrantof theRussian Humanitarian Science Foundation project“China and Russia:the ideology of nationalism.Comparative Historical Analysis”from 2015 to 2017.
