He previously served asDean of the Institute of Sino-German Law (Chinesisch-Deutsches Institut für Rechtswissenschaft),Professor, Doctoral Supervisor, atChina University of Political Science and Law;Dean of the Faculty of Laws,Macao University of Science and Technology.He is an internationally renowned expert in comparative law,Editor-in-Chief ofJournal ofComparative Law, Editor-in-Chief ofChinese Legal Documents, and Director of the Editorial Board ofContemporary German Legal Classics. He previously served asVice President of thethe High People’s Court ofQinghaiProvinceandChief Policy Advisor to MacaoSAR, where hepresided overurban planning,sea areasplanning, industrial planning, and the master plan for the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone. He is currently a Distinguished Professor atInstitute of Advanced Studies inHumanities and Social Sciences,Beijing Normal University.
